Mountain View, Arkansas, or "Mountain Do"™ as we like to say, is a tourist town with both a State Park and National Park, offering you many choice forms of entertainment. This town has a rich spectrum of interests and culture, full of adventure while also bringing you back in time, including one of the few operating drive-in theaters and America's only facility that works at preserving the Ozark heritage and sharing it in an entertaining way. Known as both the “Folk Music Capital of the World” and as one of National Geographic Adventure Magazine’s “Top 100 Adventure Towns” and USA Today Travel’s “10 Excellent Outdoor Adventures for Families” in the USA, Mountain  View hosts the Arkansas State Fiddle Championship, offers Bluegrass Festivals, concerts, pickin' in the park, music and dancing at downtown's Courthouse Square, along with adventure such as found at Loco Ropes, an IMBA Epic mountain bike trail, wild cave tours at Blanchard Springs Caverns, "one of the most extraordinary finds of the century" per Life Magazine, horseback riding, Push Mountain - a favorite among motorcyclists, a 3 day trail running stage race, and some of the nation's best fishing.
